Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety (Full Time)
Under the affiliation of West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education & Skill Development.

The course is meant to train manpower which is statutorily required under the provisions of the Factories Act, the Building and other construction worker’s Act and relevant Rules of the Government. This relates to employment as Safety Officers (Supervisor) in Manufacturing and Construction Industries etc. "Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety" is the requisite qualification for being a Safety official.

The Council conducts the Examinations according to the calendar they announce from year to year and awards the Pass Certificates to successful candidates. Factory/Laboratory visits will be arranged in connection with Term Work and Laboratory classes and Project work.

Admission will be made on the basis of Merit test/eligibility as decided by the Association. Regarding admission, the decision of the selection committee of this Association shall be final and binding.

Admission Cycle & Class Timing:

• There are one admission cycle in a year for this course: July/August Admission Session for the current year.
• 3 Days in a week (Preferably Friday, Saturday & Sunday) from 11.30 hrs to 17.30 hrs.

Eligibility for Admission:

• A degree in Engineering / Technology of a recognized University approved by AICTE.
• A degree in Science of a recognized University approved by UGC with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
• A Diploma in any branch of Engineering / Technology recognized by the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education.

Duration:

• One Year (Full Time). Two parts of six months duration. (Part-I, II)
• Part-I, II each is 15 weeks duration out of six months.
• Classes will have to hold at least 3 days in a week.
• The course starts in July/August of the current year and continues till December of the following year or more as per situation and examination schedule of WBSCET&VE&SD.

Tuition Fee:

Rs. 50,000/- (Fifty Thousand) only for the entire Course. (Installment facility also available)
